The journey back to yourself is rarely a straight line.
For a long time, I believed that success came from pushing harder.
Work harder.
Achieve more.
Keep going.
And for a while, it worked.
I built a successful career in technology, moving from software development into project management and leading multimillion-dollar programmes across Ireland and Australia. On paper, life looked exactly as it should.
But beneath the achievements, something was missing.
The pace was relentless. I had become disconnected from myself, constantly focused on the next goal, the next milestone, the next thing to achieve.
Then life forced me to stop.
The loss of a close friend, combined with a rapid decline in my own health, became a turning point I couldn’t ignore.
What I saw as failure was actually a wake-up call.
What felt like weakness was wisdom.
What looked like the end was the beginning of something entirely new.
For the first time, I stopped asking, “What’s next?”
And started asking, “What do I need?”
In that space, I began the journey of rebuilding trust in myself.
Not the version of me defined by achievement, productivity, or other people’s expectations.
The real me.
The one I’d stopped listening to.
That journey changed everything.
It led me to coaching, Theta Healing, colour analysis, and a deeper understanding of what it means to live in alignment with who you truly are.
And ultimately, it led to UNCMN.
Because I discovered there is another way.
An uncommon way.
A path built on self-trust instead of self-sacrifice.
On connection instead of constant striving.
On listening instead of pushing.
Today, through UNCMN, I help women rebuild self-trust after burnout, trauma, and life’s major transitions.
Not by teaching them to become someone else.
But by helping them come home to themselves.
Because healing isn’t about fixing who you are.
It’s about remembering who you’ve always been.
